The NSW Budget Resource Hub is designed to give employees across NSW Government agencies and entities guidance and information on budget and financial management in New South Wales.

For members of the public with an interest in the NSW Budget process, the overview of the NSW Budget process provides more focused and accessible information.

Consolidated Budget Management Guidance

The Consolidated Budget Management Guidance (the guidance) is a comprehensive resource setting out the core expectations and requirements of budget management in the NSW public sector. It is designed to support senior decision-makers and public sector employees with non-financial backgrounds.

The guidance represents existing policy, and complements existing Treasury Policy and Guidelines and operational guidance issued to agencies throughout the year. The guidance will be reviewed and updated annually to incorporate any key policy amendments approved by Government.
