TD22-30 Management of Cash, Banking and Payments

This Direction has been replaced by TD23-18.

This Direction makes provision with respect to the use of financial services and arrangements by GSF agencies, accountable authorities, and government officers, including management of cash, banking, and payments for GSF agencies. This includes financial services under a State financial service agreement or other, under the Government Sector Finance Act 2018 (GSF Act). This Direction replaces Treasurer's Direction TD19-01 Financial services.

Economic and outcomes evaluation of 2020 NSW Government COVID-19 Small Business Grants

2021-22 NSW Report on State Finances

The 2021-22 New South Wales Report on State Finances includes:

  • an overview of the financial performance and position of the General Government and Total State Sectors for 2021-22
  • the audited Consolidated Financial Statements of the General Government and Total State Sectors for 2021-22, including a full set of note disclosures required by Australian Accounting Standards
  • the Outcomes Report on Government Finances for the general government sector, public non-financial corporations sector, public financial corporations sector and the non-financial public sector for 2021-22, prepared in accordance with the Uniform Presentation Framework adopted by all Australian governments.

NSW Treasury’s Sponsorship Policy aims to promote transparency, promote the efficient and effective use of taxpayer funds used for sponsorship purposes, and maintain the impartiality and neutrality of Treasury when dealing with any sponsored organisations.

It was developed in line with:

The Policy applies to all Treasury staff, including the Office of Energy and Climate Change.

Through the effective application of the Policy, Treasury can ensure sponsorship opportunities are assessed appropriately, accurately and with the aim of promoting public value.
